Idea Generation for possible treatments of idea

The Problem

Who is positive intervention for?

Child gamers

What problem is it solving?

Children spending too much time gaming

How will it do good?

Our campaign will encourage children and adults a-like as to the effects of over gaming; and will encourage the natural more well rounded growth of the child.

Banner

A sketch for a shoot which would include a 'gamer' holding a controller distantly looking through the crowds of people as they walk past the individual. Symbolising the inherent lack of communication and isolation of a child gaming on the own in their room.

Looking at the 'game' through a new angle and portraying this distorted view of reality onto real life.

Caught in the crowds of people, but still distant.

Two scenes of a a distorted view of reality. The top image presents an eccentric interpretation of the  gamers viewpoint, and the second shows a viewpoint of the gamer from the outside.

Zine

A potential cover for a zine based on on child gamers. The figures on the front are both faceless and have little to no features which could be seen as notable emotions/characteristics.

A potential back cover for the magazine. A collage of digital 'gaming' imagery and one of people placed in the open space in the centre of the page.
