LogoType
Simple logotype using an acronym of the games name 'High Score'; one of the visual aims throughout the instagram page is to have a common 8 bit aesthetic, this is portrayed through the logotype with a type made from squares, layered over one another to create a 'popping' type which is reminiscent of early arcade games.
We chose to go with the logotype on the left as while it captures the arcade game aesthetic with its layering of type, it has a clearer more distinct game logo look to it than the other two.
Icons
Icons for our four question types puzzle (blue), charade/video (red), picture (green), question (orange). The icons have a clear separation of category by the strong contrast of colours obtained from pantone colour chart.
Layout
A first look at the layout of the instagram. The final page will be more spread out (categories) and there will be a maze like path to follow along the page when playing the game. We decide to change the question category to a bold yellow as we felt that it presented a clearer visual distinction between the it and the other categories than the previous orange colour scheme.
