  • Key to success was conducting good research into target audience (8-12) and avoiding stereotypes. Key points; make things physical over digital, don't underestimate intelligence, play first/educate secondbuild shoes using stencils (interactive)

Ace & Tate

  • Brewer Street Flagship store
  • Design a shop/opticians that can hold events/parties, but also feels professional
  • Has to be relevant to the Amsterdam brand and Soho  
  • 60's Carnaby street - big inspiration 
  • Assemble architectural group
  • split colour between flooring being colourful (fun) and white (clinical) 
  • Winking eyes (open when store open/shut when store closed)

  • Break down process into 1. research 2. ideas (risky / safe) 3. develop 4. present 5. work on their opinions and present final 
  • Use a broad range of experiments to generate ideas 
  • Focus on what you're passionate about and take this forward into professional work.
